SHORT-TERM MISSIONS IN SIERRA LEONE

Rev. Gregory Bangura received 17 short-term missiions team from Victory Church, Denver, Colorado, USA in June 2009. The team was led by Pastor Chad Owen.

We held church leaders conferences in Bo and Kenema; community evangelistic oreaches and evening meetings. We also trained 34 church planters and encouraged them for literacy ministry. We baptized 12 persons in Blama.

We held an evangelistic campaign in one of the markets in Kenema. About 98% of the women selling in the market are Muslims. The team did a drama that drew almost of the marketers (500) to the crusade ground and some had the opportunity to hear the gospel for the first time. At the end, about 100 responded to the altar call and were recommended to Bible believing churches in Kenema town. Praise God!
